A graduate of Columbia College Chicago, Adam Orton is a filmmaker, video producer, editor, composer, and visual effects artist based in Vancouver, British Columbia. For over ten years he has helped brands, organizations, educational institutions, and non-profits tell compelling stories through cinematic video content.
His work spans network TV commercials, documentaries, corporate films, college sporting events through ABC and ESPN, production for pharmaceutical giants, social media campaigns, and feature films. His narrative film projects have screened at over 70 different film festivals across the world including London, Sydney, Seoul, Los Angeles, and beyond.
In 2013, after nearly two years raising capital investments, he directed the award-winning theatrical feature film AMELIA 2.0, starring Ed Begley Jr (Best in Show, MASH), Eddie Jemison (Ocean’s Eleven), Chris Ellis (Apollo 13), Debra Wilson (MadTV), Kate Vernon (Battlestar Galactica), and Ben Whitehair (Nashville.)
