DreamCity Cinema is a Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based video production company.

We are living in an age where video production has become “easy.” Many companies and brands are now expected to produce video content in order to compete – whether they like it or not. The digital age has opened up all kinds of opportunities for filmmakers and videographers.

However, it’s not just an opportunity for those who can operate a camera. There is a need for video creative artists who understand the nuances of creative collaboration. There is a need for video production companies who understand the nuances and perks of great creative collaboration.

DreamCity Cinema is a Cedar Rapids, Iowa based video production company, meant to fill that void. Much of our work has spanned the country and has been seen across the world. We especially love serving the Cedar Rapids and Eastern Iowa community.

While the official legal entity of DreamCity Cinema, LLC was established in 2020 by Adam Orton – Orton has worked in this field for over a decade producing branded content, narrative films, audio production, music production, visual effects, and television commercials for more companies and brands than he can even remember. Throughout this time, he has forged many fantastic working relationships with cinematographers, production and art directors, audio editors, colorists, mixers, composers, and writers. 

Adam Orton is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago (summa cum laude) whose work has premiered in Los Angeles, England, Australia, Korea, and more. He built DreamCity Cinema as a brand to encapsulate both his experience in this field and that of his working relationships. DreamCity Cinema exists to create exciting and new branded content and narrative films to Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
